Alves out of the field for the next three weeks

Paris Saint-Germain's Brazilian Defender Danny Alves has left the field for at least three weeks due to a knee injury. On Tuesday, he suffered a knee injury in the final of the French Cup. Before the World Cup, Brazil have been worried about one of the most reliable and experienced defenders. 


In the final of the 35-year-old Alves French Cup, the second-string team suffered an injury in the 2-0 win over Les Herbiers. Brazilian camp is worried about the recovery of this flower-back before the World Cup starting on 14 June. 

Although a spokesman for Alves said that such an injury does not require surgery. After three weeks he will be seen again. 

On Monday, Brazilian coach Titat is scheduled to announce the 23-member final squad for the World Cup in Russia. Brazil will play the warm-up match against Croatia on June 3 and Austria after seven days. Then, in the group stage of the World Cup, Switzerland, Serbia and Costa Rica will face.
